In order to gain insight into conducting plant electrophysiological experiments, a visit to Bose Institute, Kolkata and Monsanto Research was made in June 2015. Also, experts in Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Hessaraghatta, University of Agricultural Sciences (GKVK), Bengaluru and IISc, Bengaluru were consulted between Jun 2015 to Jan 2016 in this regard.

Instrumentation for plant electrical experiments: An experimental setup consisting of a torsional vibrator, needle electrodes, associated DAQ hardware and software has been setup at Sathya Sai Grama to conduct plant electrophysiological experiments.
